THE ROTARY FOUNDATION
The Rotary Foundation seeks to promote international understanding, good will and peace in practical, realistic terms. Special Grants and grants for the Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) program are made throughout the year to support international charitable projects sponsored by Rotary clubs or districts. Scholarships and Group Study Exchanges are awarded annually to gifted men and women both to further their education and to hone their skills as effective ''ambassadors of good will'' in countries other than their own. Exposure to the life and customs of the study country through the guidance of Rotarian hosts and their families results in camaraderie and lasting friendships that help realize the Foundation's goal of furthering international understanding.
ROTARY BENEFACTORS
The Rotary Foundation aims to achieve World Understand and Peace. A Benefactor is anyone who informs The Foundation in writing that he or she has made provision in his or her Will or other estate plan for a distribution to The Rotary Foundation permanent fund. Secondly, anyone who makes an outright gift of U.S. $1,000 or more to the permanent fund is considered a Benefactor. The annual income generated by the permanent fund is used to support The Foundation's programs. The following are members of The Rotary Club of West Raleigh who are Benefactors:
